Your firm works with EBP

Published on 25 August 2026

EBP has a double life in a firm: the tool you use yourself, and the one your clients use. When a company director rings because their sales management software refuses to validate an invoice, it's the firm that answers. Better to have the answer within reach.

What the assistant has already read

EBP's public help centre covers accounting, payroll and business management: 715 articles, which the assistant reads and resyncs on its own. Ask your question in plain language, for yourself or to answer a client; the reply cites the source article, with the link. And when the help says nothing, the assistant says so too.

What your teams teach it

Every exchange with EBP support now leaves something useful behind. The answer a team member obtained, once lost in their inbox, is consolidated into the firm's knowledge: the next person facing the same screen will have it without asking again. Add to that your internal notes and your own ways of doing things, the ones that appear in no online help.

Between your teams and EBP support

When the answer exists nowhere, the assistant takes over: it raises the request with EBP support itself, tracks it, chases it up if needed, and brings the answer back to you. The tracking is there in front of you: who asked and for which client file, how long the wait has been. The line stays clear: a bug fix or a damaged file is the vendor's job, and nobody else's.

What the vendor gains

Less demand on support for what is already written down. The published figures give the order of magnitude: the Generative AI at Work study (Quarterly Journal of Economics, 2025, 5,179 agents tracked) measures 14% more cases resolved per hour, and 34% among newcomers; published field measurements put the share of requests that find their answer without ever going to support at between a quarter and almost half.
